The 2022/23 Arsenal Home Jersey takes fans back to where it all began. In 1886, workers at the Royal Arsenal arms factory in London founded Dial Square Football Club, later renamed Arsenal Football club. Over the door at the Royal Arsenal Gatehouse hung a crest that included cannons, later adopted by the club, and lightning bolts.
The season's new jersey incorporates this piece of club history with a lightning bolt pattern on the collar. A lightning bolt design was also used on Arsenal jerseys in the 1990's.
